| Course Grading |
You are required to attend each class, take lecture notes, complete required readings, research content for projects, collect, analyze and modify existing interactive scripts, develop ideas, develop and complete four projects averaging four hours weekly of laboratory work out of class in addition to the five hours weekly in class, and present your projects. To be considered are quality of project development, completed projects, effective media utilization, originality, sensitivity and flexibility of overall and detail organization of visual elements, level of technical execution, mastery of basic scripting, punctual submission of completed projects, effective visual and oral presentation of solutions, involvement in group critiques and discussions, and the ability to work with others. You will also be graded on slide presentation research reports on the required readings (total for report presentations will be no more than 15% of the final grade for the course). Attendance: Attendance is required for every lecture, assigned consultation slot and group critique and in-class work session. Your final grade will be reduced by 2% for every unexcused absence beyond two. |
